An interview of the special guest, Gavin Wong. (Lighting Practice)

This is an exercise for us to practice and understand how to adjust the studio's lighting. The photos below consists of Front Strong light which is at 45 degree from the object, at the left of photographer and soft back light at 45 degree behind the object.

During the exercise, one of my friend, Gavin Wong, joined the class and became the model throughout the exercise. He post, he act, he laugh, he smile and he smoke.

The lighting of above picture is strong light from my left and soft back light from the back-right. Smiling.

Only front light and the smile

Softer front lighting when he telling his Kung Fu's life.

The light shine on his face when he laughed

After telling his story, he takes out a cigg. from his Winston Light pack. The background light is stronger than the foreground light.

Smoking kills but Smoking chill~~stronger background lighting

Only foreground lighting
